FAQs

Answers to questions you may have about the Permaculture Design Course.

When is the next PDC course?

5 February 2026 – 16 March 2026 Permaculture 1 / Introduction online
20 March 2026 – 22 March 2026 Permaculture 2 (residential)
17 April 2026 – 19 April 2026 Permaculture 3 (residential)

How much does Your Next PDC cost?

£750 if you book & pay a deposit by 31 December 2025. 1 January onwards: £850
The fee includes shared, self-catering accommodation each weekend & teaching and support from your two permaculture facilitators, Angie & Alice. Accommodation for the night before the course is also included for Denmark Farm; there’s a small extra charge if you wish to arrive before the course at Henbant.

Upon confirmation of a place, you will need to transfer a £250 deposit to ensure your place, with the remainder due before the start of Permaculture 1. As our course is cost covering and not for profit, if you cancel within 2 weeks of the start of the PDC and we are unable to fill your place, £125 will be deducted from your refund to cover pre-prepared materials, admin and venue costs due to your non-attendance.

Is there a concessionary rate?

We price our course based on a minimum number of participants. Once we reach that number, we may be able to offer a concessionary rate according to individual circumstances. We also ‘pay forward’ any surplus after a course to support eligible applicants in future years, as well as permaculture projects in less privileged parts of the world.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, £250 secures your place, with the balance due by the start of Permaculture 1 (we’re also open to negotiation!).

What if I have to cancel after paying the deposit or fee?

If you cancel within 2 weeks of the start of the PDC, and we are unable to fill your place, £125 will be deducted from your refund to cover pre-prepared materials, admin and financial shortfall due to your non-attendance.
